January Newsletter - New Format

Our Newsletter Editor, Kevin Davies, has developed a brand new format for the regular newsletter. Instead of a document that has sometimes been over 20 pages long, you will see a much shorter summary. You will be able to see very quickly all the topics that are being covered.

All your favourite departments will still be available, but you will need to click on a link in order to read the details. You may have already seen this newsletter emailed to you with an attached, short pdf document. In the future we are planning to send it as an e-Newsletter which you can read from within the body of the email.

Our 2021 Club Champion is Wayne Zhu and he will hold the John Brownie Cup. He has competed successfully in 17/22 qualifying events in 2021. He amassed 84 CC points, which are allocated after every major club event. 
Our retiring 2019 club champion was Peter Jeffery. (2020 CC event was  Covid cancelled)
 
As you may have heard, the Club is looking for a General Manager and one of our members, David Wurth, who has considerable experience in HR recruitment, will be helping us in this quest.  Read More  Ad has been placed on SEEK.COM
 
The Sylvester Team has won the final 2021 Thursday Night competition:
Liz Sylvester & Peter Gill + Yumin Lee & Simon Zhang.
 
The winners on +57 IMPS were  Elliot Kaplan & Peter Gill 
 
 
The Monthly Winners (Open, Restricted & Rookie) are determined by the number of Master Points earned that month in club events.

The Thursday Night RB Competition program has been firmed up for 2022.

The Thursday nights that clash with National Events, (eg Summer Festival, Surfers), the club will not probably run any filler events, unless demand is high.
