Trumps Triumphs in Interclub Teams
Winners are Grinners! The annual Margaret Smales Northern Interclub Teams event was won by Trumps Bridge Club, hosted this year by NSBC (last year's winners). Well done Trumps!
Five clubs contested the 2022 event - Trumps, Peninsula, Manly and two from NSBC (Willis and East Lindfield) and were divided into two sections. Division 1 included Open and Intermediate players (750+ and 300 - 500 Master Points) whike Division 2 included Restricted and Rookie players (100 - 300 and less than 100 Master Points). There were 14 teams in each division. The scoring rewarded best total IMPs, averaged over the number of teams representing each club. Trumps were the winners in each of the two sections.
Our Club Manager, Mike Prescott took the opportunity to make a presentation to Margaret Owen, who was retiring after many years as Office Manager at NSBC.
