2023 Annual General Meeting
The Club's Annual General Meeting attracted a large crowd of members to our East Lindfield venue on Saturday.
Following the necessary formalities, Club President Mark Guthrie farewelled and thanked retiring Committee members Janie Russ and Carol McMurray, and then welcomed our two newest Committee Members, Robyn Rogers and Helen Stewart.

Each one of the committee then spoke informally for a few minutes about their own background and how they saw the future of the club. A common theme was the appreciation of the club's development as a community, and the welcoming atmosphere we provided to all members - old and new.
A most gratifying feature, mentioned by both Mark and Club Treasurer Rod Owen, was the apparent improvement in the Club's financial position. The outstanding leadership of Club Manager Mike Prescott and Online Manager Gary Barwick is seeing an improvement in player numbers at our sessions, and some reduction in outgoings.
With this good news, the formal part of the AGM concluded, and all present were treated to a delicious lunch, followed by a game of bridge.
