Targeted Bridge player capabilities for Play in these club sessions or Congresses

Beginner Classes

We hold multiple structured beginner classes (Duration 6 weeks) over the year at both Club Willoughby  with teacher Liz Wilkinson, & at East Lindfield with teacher Ed Barnes. These courses are designed to enable you to enjoy your learning as you play bridge and develop your skills.  We support your subsequent transition into our Supervised & Rookie sessions.

Supervised Sections

For new players following Beginners Classes. The Director actively assists players with pre-session talks (15 mins) , and is supporting you in the  bidding & play during the bridge session.

Rookie Sections

For improving players. Restricted to Players with <35 ABF Master points. The director actively assists with a Pre-Session Talk (15mins) and can be called to assist.

Restricted Sections

Restricted to Players with <300 ABF Master points. These sections protect developing players from very competitive OPEN players,

Open events

Players of all standards allowed. All Basic systems allowed - Green, Blue System Classifications

Minor Club Championship Events

Players of all standards allowed.  All Basic systems allowed - Green, Blue System Classifications.

Major Club Championship Events

Highest bridge standard .. you may compete against STATE & AUSTRALIAN representative players.  All complex systems allowed.

NSBC Congress (OPEN)

Players of all standards allowed. All Basic systems allowed - Green, Blue Classifications; some complex.

NSBC Congress (Restricted)

Congress events for players. Restricted to  <300 ABF Masterpoints. Get to enjoy the excitement of Congress Bridge without very competitive OPEN players.

NSBC Congress (Novice Or UHMP)

Congress events for Newer or Novice players with play sections restricted to players with <100 ABF Masterpoints.   Get to enjoy the excitement of Congress Bridge.
