Separate Open and Restricted Sections

Swiss Movement starting 10am to approx 4:30pm

Open Prizes: 1st place $300, 2nd place $200, 3rd place $120

Restricted Prizes: 1st place $200, 2nd place $120

Best Novice Pair: $100

For NSBC members the Novice category is the same as our Rookie category, both players must have 100 masterpoints to be eligible.

Format & Results

This event is a Swiss pairs with IMP/VP scoring, starting with a random draw and played over two sessions with an overall total of 7 x 8 board matches for the open and 6 x 8 board matches for the restricted. Start time for session 1 will be 10:00am sharp. Lunch break at 12:30pm and restarting at 1:00pm for second session. Approximate finish 4:30pm (earlier for restricted).
