Great Start to First Sessions at the RSL

Over 50 players turned up for their first experience of Saturday afternoon f2f bridge at the North Ryde RSL.

After joining up to be members of the RSL club for $5, they were shown the playing area where they received a free game and a welcome to the new venue from Club President David Fryda. After the game, all players were invited to have a complimentary drink in the Marble Bar by Mike Prescott, who looked relaxed and healthy after his recent health scare.

For some of our players it was a welcome return to bridge as they had not participated in the club's online offerings. For others it was a change of venue from the regular Saturday game on RealBridge, which nevertheless was able to attract 21 tables for the concurrent online session.

More regular sessions are constantly being added to the f2f schedule at the RSL.

In the coming week there is a 2pm Rookie session at 2pm on Monday, 10am Open and Restricted sessions on Wednesday, Open and Restricted sessions at 10 am on Friday - and the 1pm Open session on Saturday.

For all sessions being offered by NSBC, make sure you check the Weekly Schedule on our website.
