Four New Face-to-Face Bridge Sessions

nr playing

NSBC is adding four new face-to-face sessions from next week (12th April): Mon 10am Open/Restricted and Weds 2pm Rookies at North Ryde, and Weds 10am Open and Sat 1pm Open at East Lindfield.

Face-to-face bridge is alive and well! Come and check out our newest venue at North Ryde RSL or our classic clubroom at East Lindfield Rollers. If you have been wondering when you should come back to our face-to-face clubrooms: now’s the time.

You don’t need to book in advance for any of our face-to-face sessions. We guarantee that you will get a game, partner or not – just show up. Free tea and instant coffee facilities. Free pre-game talks for selected sessions. Come along and enjoy holding the feeling of cards in your hands!

Monday 10am Open & Restricted at North Ryde RSL (Jamie Thompson)

jamie

We are excited to bring back our historically most popular session to North Ryde with an accomplished new director. Jamie Thompson is an experienced bridge teacher from Melbourne who has recently arrived in Sydney. Jamie has been a permanent fixture on Australia’s Under-26 international rep team for several years and is a multiple national champion to boot.

Before our 10am start, Jamie will be offering a free 9:30am short lesson to all players (notes provided). He is more than happy to answer any bridge questions you have. Come along and meet one of Australia’s young bridge stars!

Wednesday 2pm Rookies at North Ryde RSL (Liz Wilkinson)

Our ever-popular bridge teacher Liz Wilkinson will be looking after our newest session for Rookies at North Ryde. A gentle session for our less experienced players, Liz is committed to helping you take the next step in your game. Includes a short talk at 1:45pm.

Wednesday 10am Open and Saturday 1pm Open at East Lindfield (Sue Crompton)

Our ever-reliable Sue Crompton is on hand at East Lindfield as we continue to reopen our face-to-face sessions.

Starting next week Wednesday morning at 10.00am (14th April) and Saturday afternoon at 1.00pm (17th April) we have two new Open sessions at East Lindfield. Please arrive 15 minutes before the session commencing so you can sign in with the QR code.

As some restrictions have eased, we are now able to provide you with tea and coffee facilities.  Your safety is our upmost priority so although we will not be resuming afternoon tea, the bar will be open after the Saturday afternoon game so please feel free to catch up with friends after the game.
