XMAS Lunch at the Willis

There was a packed house at our new club rooms at the Willis on Wednesday.

Some 130 players gathered to meet up face-to-face and chat with old friends, have a delicious lunch with dessert, enjoy a glass of wine and

hear our Club President David Fryda and Club Manager Liam Milne welcome all and sundry to our wonderful new venue. 

There was even an actual bridge game to top it all off.

In the Open section John Mottram and De Mitty came first North-South and Judy Mott and Peter Livesey first East-West.

In the Rookie section Moya Barnett and Keri Rooney came first North-South, while Patricia Bond and Noela Murphy were first East-West.

Online bridge is fine - but it's nowhere as good as the real thing!
