Hyegrove Stratified Pairs

This event, to be run in March, is unique in that you can play either face-to-face or online - all will play the same hands. There is no need to register – just turn up as you would for the regular Saturday game.

We are fortunate to have Hyegrove Willoughby sponsoring our 2022 Stratified Pairs Championship.

Hyegrove Willoughby is developing a new luxury retirement living community on the site of Club Willoughby, where we had our bridge club rooms for many years.

The Stratified Pairs is a match pointed event and will be run over 4 Saturdays in March - 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th - to decide the Club’s 2022 Stratified Pairs Club Championship title.

The outright results count towards determining the 2022 NSBC Club Champion (Brownie Cup).

You can play in 1, 2, 3 or all 4 sessions, at either venue - East Lindfield (F2F Open) or RealBridge (Open) - on these Saturday afternoons, and it will be included in the competition. All will play the same hands with a minimum 24 boards.

There will be session prizes: (1st $100, 2nd $50, 3rd $25) at each venue.

Also Graded Prizes for overall results: (1st $200, 2nd $100, 3rd $50) in each of the 4 Categories  
(Rookie <100MP; Restricted <300MP; Intermediate <750MP; and Open).

Your best 3 session percentage scores with the same partner, (re-scored across the combined field), will count towards the outright and category awards.

Your category is defined by averaging your partnership Masterpoints 
 (Your MPs + Partner’s MPs) /2.

You can play with any partner and win the weekly venue session prizes
