At North Shore Bridge Club, we’re excited to launch our Mentee/Mentor Program with 19 Mentor Partnerships already — a unique opportunity for members to improve their game, build connections, and foster a supportive bridge community.
What is the Mentee/Mentor Program?
This program pairs experienced players (Mentors) with less experienced players (Mentees) to share knowledge, strategies, and insights that can elevate your bridge skills. It’s not just about the cards; it’s about building confidence, mastering techniques, and having fun along the way.
Why Participate?
Whether you’re looking to sharpen your bidding skills, improve your defensive play, or better understand game strategy, this program is tailored for you.
For Mentees:
- Receive guidance from seasoned players based on your personal goals.
- Gain insights into advanced strategies.
- Build confidence in a supportive environment.
For Mentors:
- Provide guidance and support, focusing on the Mentee’s goals.
- Share your expertise and give back to the bridge community.
- Strengthen your own understanding of the game by mentoring others.
How Does It Work?
The program is flexible and designed to fit around your schedule. Mentors and Mentees will be matched based on playing experience, goals, and availability. Once paired, you’ll agree on the frequency and format of your sessions—whether it’s online games, face-to-face practice, or discussing hands over coffee. Please note, Mentors act as guides and supporters, not formal teachers.
