In Memory of Joan Stobo and Leo Vilensky

As we reported a few weeks back, Joan recently celebrated her 100th birthday. See the full story here

Sadly, Joan passed away on September 26.

Joan joined our old Lindfield club in the 1970s. She loved the game of bridge and said that it had given her a lot of friendships and enjoyable challenges during her life. Joan continued to play regularly up until she was 98.

We were also saddened to hear that Leo Vilensky - another long time member of NSBC - passed away on October 9.

As well as playing bridge at East Lindfield, Leo was a former President of the Lindfield Rollers bowling club.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Joan's and Leo's families and loved ones.
