Everything you need to know about the EGM & The Merger
The EGM will be held on Wednesday 3rd December at 9am. Pre-registration is available and we recommend this. No registration means, we do not cater for you (no nice sweet treats)! It also means you join the slow queue as we have to check that you are financial. Pre-registration means we have checked your status already. You will still have to check in, so we can give you your ballot paper/s.

All about Proxies
If you cannot make it, but still want to vote. You need to find a member that is attending and allocate your proxy to them. Each member attending can only hold one proxy. You also need to ensure that the member knows which way you wish to vote.
Proxy form is available here. Please complete it, scan or photograph it and send to manager@northshorebridgeclub.com.au. This needs to be done by 9am ob Tuesday 2nd December.
You can see who has registered to attend and whether or not they hold a proxy. Click here to see the latest Attendance Register.
All about the Merger
The latest version of the Memorandum of Understanding is available here. This document will be executed as a Deed and for the agreement for the Merger. The document cannot and will not cater for every possible scenario but protects both NSBC and Lindfield Rollers. For the avoidance of any doubt the Lindfield Bowling Club own the land specified in Schedule A of the document, there is no council lease.
What are we voting on?
At the EGM you will be voting "to approve in principle the proposed amalgamation with Lindfield Bowling Club Ltd on the terms and conditions set out in the Memorandum of Understanding attached, and authorise the Committee to take all steps necessary to give effect to the amalgamation."
What happens after the EGM?
If we get a majority voting Yes at the EGM, then the next steps are for the Lindfield Bowling Club to vote Yes to change their constitution at their AGM. If this is a Yes, then the Lawyers will draft up the constitution changes for Lindfield Bowling Club which will be done to enable the merged Club to fulfil the obligations set out in the MOU. Once this is done the Lindfield Bowling Club members will hold an EGM and will need to have a 75% majority to approve the changes to the constitution. If that goes through - then we will start on the transition and we will effectively be one club with our forever home.
