The Education Hub Turns one
One year ago, the North Shore Bridge Club launched the Education Hub with a simple goal – to make quality bridge education available whenever and wherever members wanted to learn.
Twelve months later, the results have exceeded all expectations.
So far, 507 bridge players have enjoyed lessons through the Education Hub, with an incredible 2,352 lessons watched. Whether it's revisiting a topic after a lesson, learning something new from home, or catching up on a session that couldn't be attended live, the Education Hub has become an important learning resource for players of all standards.
One of the great challenges in bridge is that the game never stands still. New ideas emerge, bidding styles evolve, and partnerships continue to refine their methods. Even if you don't intend to play every convention or treatment yourself, understanding what your opponents are doing can give you a significant advantage at the table.
After all, if your opponents are learning, shouldn't you be?
The Education Hub features lessons from leading teacher Will Jenner-O'Shea, covering a wide range of topics from fundamentals through to advanced competitive bidding and declarer play concepts. Lessons can be watched at your own pace and revisited whenever you need a refresher.
As we celebrate our first birthday, we'd like to thank everyone who has supported the Education Hub and helped make it such a success.
If you haven't explored the Education Hub yet, now is the perfect time to discover what 507 players are already talking about.
