The Winner of our monthly competition for March 2022 in the OPEN category was Bernard Edelstein. First in the Restricted was Sharon Thompson and First in the Rookies was Michelle Bloxham.
A solid number of members turned up - both in person and online - at the NSBC Annual General Meeting held on Saturday at our East Lindfield venue. Well in excess of the quorum required by our Constitution.
The club’s 2022 Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) will be held on Saturday 2nd April at 10:30am. Like last year, this year you will be able to attend the AGM in person at our premises at East Lindfield Bowling Club or you can attend via Zoom technology.
NSBC club member Danny Dreyfus and Morgans have been generous supporters of our club for many years.
We don't usually promote movies, but this may be of interest to some of our members. Our club, and other bridge clubs in Sydney, have received some promotional material from a film festival running in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.
This congress was held at East Lindfield on Sunday - the first face-to-face Open congress to be held by NSBC since the same congress last year! The event is named in remembrance of Pauline Evans, a long time member of our club and an excellent bridge player and teacher.
