In Memory of Joan Stobo and Leo Vilensky

NSBC was pleased to announce in August that the awesome Joan Stobo had achieved the amazing age of 100.

Today we sadly advise that Joan peacefully passed away on September 26.

After the excitement of her Birthday, and all the best wishes from her large numbers of family, friends and suddenly lots of new Politician friends, her health quickly fell away. It was almost as if, after a very busy life, full of highlights, she had decided 100 was enough. 

 

The North Shore Bridge Club take this opportunity to add their condolences to the many others offered at her recent funeral.

 

Joan, Rest In Peace.

We were also saddened to hear that Leo Vilensky - another long time member of NSBC - passed away on October 9.

As well as playing bridge at East Lindfield, Leo was a former President of the Lindfield Rollers bowling club.

 

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Joan's and Leo's families and loved ones.
