The Rookie Session is designed to provide a supportive and friendly environment for newer bridge players to develop their skills and enjoy the game.

Eligibility:
The Rookie Session is open to players with 100 Masterpoints or less at the time of playing.
Exceptions will be made to keep partnerships intact if one player is over 100 Masterpoints and the other is not yet ready to move to the next grade.

A total of 18 - 24 boards will be played during each session.

Conduct and Rules:
Despite the relaxed nature of the Rookie Session, all players must adhere to the official laws of bridge.
Masterpoints will be awarded, thus maintaining the integrity and standards of competitive play.

Conclusion:
The goal of the Rookie Session is to foster growth and confidence in newer players while ensuring fair and enjoyable gameplay for all participants. The North Shore Bridge Club is committed to supporting the development of its members through structured and considerate progression.
