We Didn’t Just Reach $10,000… We Smashed It!

What an incredible effort by our amazing North Shore Bridge Club community.

Our target for this year’s Cancer Council fundraiser was $10,000… and together we absolutely SMASHED it, raising an extraordinary $12,610!

As if that was not already fantastic news, Dilma has generously committed to matching our donation, meaning the impact of our fundraising effort will be doubled. That is simply amazing and something we should all be incredibly proud of.

This result shows the power of community. When bridge players put their minds to something, apparently we are even more dangerous off the table than on it!

A huge thank you must go to Jenny Madden and her team of Sponsorship Warriors, along with Sue and Mike, for securing such fantastic raffle prizes. The raffle created enormous excitement and played a huge role in helping us achieve this remarkable result.

Thank you also to all the members who baked and brought along delicious goodies. There may have been a few extra calories consumed in the name of charity… but absolutely worth it.

To everyone who donated — thank you. The generosity shown by so many of our members and staff was genuinely overwhelming and makes me incredibly proud to be part of this wonderful Club community.

Special thanks also to Mike, Sue and Josh for running the day so smoothly and making sure everything worked seamlessly behind the scenes.

And finally, thank you to our generous sponsors for supporting this initiative so wholeheartedly, and to all our members who bought raffle tickets, attended the day, donated, baked, volunteered, played bridge and helped make the event such a success.
