NSBC teams shine in GNOT Metro Finals

Many areas in NSW held their GNOT Regional finals on the weekend. The Sydney Metropolitan GNOT final for 2026 qualified five teams to the National Qualifying stage to be held online from 18 - 20 September.

Congratulations to the "NSBC 2" Team, who remained unbeaten after 4 knockout rounds of this event.

Team members are WAYNE ZHU - BOB SEBESFI;  IAN MACLAREN - MARK MOSKOW

 

 

 

 

In the final knockout round, they beat another team from NSBC - "NSBC Direct 2" consisting of

NICK HUGHES - NICOLETA GIURA;  PETER JEFFERY - COLIN CLIFFORD

THE "NSBC 1" Team, who came 3rd in the Swiss Repechage, will also play in the National Qualoifying Finals. Team Members are

ALEX YEZERSKI - STEVEN BOCK;  COLIN THOMAS - KEVIN DAVIES

Well done to all the above players. It's quite an achievement for 3 of the 5 teams to qualify for the National Final from the Metropolitan region, are from North Shore Bridge Club.
