ATTENDING A SESSION WITHOUT A BRIDGE PARTNER
We understand that finding a suitable partner can sometimes be a challenge, but we don't want that to prevent you from enjoying a game of bridge at our Club. Our Partner Finder process is designed to help you find a long-term partner who matches your playing style and preferences. However, if you don't have a partner for a specific session, don't worry! We pride ourselves on being a welcoming environment where you can join in and play, even if you arrive solo.
As session numbers continue to expand it is a good time to restate our Club policy. Please note the policy below for arriving at a session without a partner.
Supervised and Rookie sessions
These are for our very important new players, including people straight out of lessons. Please just turn up and we will ensure you have a partner and we expect you will enjoy a fun game. Now and into the future please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of a session, for session times please check our Website.
Restricted and Open Sessions
As you rapidly improve you move to our Restricted and then Open Sessions. If you require a Bridge Partner, casual or permanent, please register by clicking here or call Sue for Face to face sessions 0416 290 867. Call Gary for Online sessions on 0413 884 805.
If a player in a regular partnership is going away for a period and the remaining partner wants to continue playing, register clicking here or call Sue for Face to face sessions 0416 290 867. Call Gary for Online sessions on 0413 884 805.
If looking for a Partner please turn up at least 15 minutes prior to the session start time.
If your Partner is unable to play in a session at the last minute, and you arrive at a session without a Partner, the Director will almost certainly be able to arrange a game for you.
You can not turn up week after week with no partner as our sessions get bigger the director will be unable to play in so a few times a year but not week after week.
For this system to work smoothly it is important that the Director is not requested to play with the same person regularly. The Director has rules to follow to ensure fairness.
