I am pleased to advise that the recruitment process for the NSBC Club Manager has reached a successful conclusion. After approximately one year, Mike Prescott will be returning to our club and taking up the role of Club Manager again.
I would like to take this opportunity to again thank and recognise the huge contribution and support that Liam Milne has provided to NSBC during his year with the club. Liam has done an amazing job considering the challenges that have been thrown at him in these extraordinary times.
Mike will be commencing on March 1st and Liam will provide him with a handover prior to heading off to Italy later in the month to represent Australia.

Beginners Classes Report
Our pioneer online group has completed the program for new players with Anita Curtis and Liz Wilkinson, and we now have close to 100 new club members who are playing Supervised Bridge. This group has also provided more than 50 starters in Build on The Basics with Jessica Brake. Many of those that didn’t complete the new player program would like to start again in the second half of the year. We are now making extensive use of “Replay Rooms” in RealBridge, so that our Supervised players can replay session hands at their leisure, and so that Build on The Basics participants can replay the lesson hands. The February 2022 face-to-face courses were deferred due to Omicron, but a new online course has started, with another 60 participants.
