A Friendly Tip for Entering NSBC Events via MyABF

When you're entering any NSBC event via MyABF (which is how we manage all of our events these days), there's a small but important step we’d love you to keep in mind:

  • Please select "Pay by Club PP System" instead of "My Bridge Credits" when you register.  Note: that the default is "My Bridge Credits".

Why does this matter?

Glad you asked! There are three solid reasons:

  1. It’s easier for you
    You don’t need to preload Bridge Credits or fiddle with topping up—your PP account does the job nicely.

  2. It saves the club money
    Every time you pay with Bridge Credits, the club gets charged a 2% merchant fee. When you use your NSBC PrePay (PP) account, it’s only 1%. That extra 1% adds up—so thank you for helping us keep costs down.

  3. It helps with our cashflow
    MyABF only pays us after the event is completed—and only at the end of that month. That means a longer wait before the club sees your entry fee. When you pay by PP, we receive it immediately and can plan and run our events more efficiently.

If you only ever enter NSBC events, there's no need to load up Bridge Credits—you can just use your PP account to pay.
